this read like a warning to me as a creative in my early 20's trying to gain shiny qualifications in numbers-things. i hate numbers but my god do i not want to be broke. i've been killing myself trying to be convinced that determination and grit will get me through all this dreadful uninspiring work. if i am honest with myself, i don't even want the pressure of being in charge of growth marketing anyway. there must be other routes then! i wonder where my fighting spirit would be better placed.

thank you for sharing 𑣲⋆

Listening to our bodies wisdoms , step 1…Following our bodies wisdoms , accomplishes every step needed to be where we are meant to be. I find meditation helps quiet the mind for the listening part…the following takes courage and action.

I love this piece!

I have recently started using the world ā€œmisalignmentā€ about my career in Tech. I was never fired, but ā€œquitā€ a couple times simply to return and repeat the cycle.

Thank you for sharing your story openly :)

Thank you so much for you comment! Yes alignment is where things start to flow and get fun. It starts with tuning into yourself. Do you feel aligned now?? x

Dylan Rodgers's avatar

Fully? No, but I view it as a lifelong journey :) at a minimum I’m very aware of when things feel off now.
